August Vibes

Has it been a month already? To say summer is flying by would be a complete understatement. Anyway, let's talk August...

August is fiery and bright. For me, nature is always calling in August. Get out and make the best out of each endless evening! August is the tomato red from a burning sunset, it is the faded blue from a sun-bleached pair of denim shorts. It's the roughness of woven rattan and vintage textiles. Let the ease of Minimal modern pieces help to lead you in the transition back to the real world. Take an entire afternoon to read Jack Kerouac on a sun porch in August : )

July Vibes

The month of July is all about endless Summerness...live like if you died tomorrow you'd have no regrets. July is filled with a mix of chaotic patriotic reds and whites, watermelon hued drinks and simple blues of the sky and of the sea. This is the month to have fun with bursts of color, but stick to similar tones from the same family to keep it from getting too over the top. Treat yoself in July!

June Vibes

My favorite month...I'm all about peacefulness in June. It's hot outside and I like the inside to feel soothing with a modern twist. Of course keep the edginess with angular, mixed metals. Never lose your edge friends.

Milo Three Ways

I've got this little Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin loveseat for sale @here and I think it's such a versatile piece...The original upholstery is in decent enough shape to enjoy for many years to come, however it's classic lines and designer pedigree make it the perfect candidate for reupholstery one day. Here are some looks I'm digging...along with some other products I've got for sale right now...

Behind the Sunshine Yellow Door

This picture made me smile today as I was running around like crazy trying to tackly my to do "list"...the word "list" is a joke these days because it's never ending  and I feel like I can never fully check anything off completely...anyway...

Looks like it's probably a little shop of some type...but if it were my front door, my living room would look a little something like this...

A healthy mix of Southwestern desert, Midcentury vibes and European sensibility. A winning combo if I do say so myself. Remember to breathe in and out today, OK.
